BEHIND THE SCENES OF THE 2013 NCAA DIVISON II CHAMPIONSHIP

         Jason Brown

CEO of Brown Sports Enterprise

THERE'S ONLY ONE OPTION

"The City of Springfield's flaws and issues are very evident, they are no secret. This is an opportunity for this City to grow immensely but there is a bigger picture here. This is also an opportunity for the NCAA to grow. The NCAA has a chance here to continute branding themselves as well as rebranding and completely revitalizing the daunting image of a flawed city. We have the history and tradition of the sport of basketball as well as the philosophy of Division II sports having less Division I schools than most states in the country. The only issues that exist are from within the city. Many strengths can arrise from this event for both the City and the NCAA. You could choose to hold the Championships in another City and it could run very well but I believe we are the one city that you could really make a difference." -Jason Brown, CEO of Brown Sports Enterprise
